Since everyone seemed a little tense with the ever-building amount of school work, we set out to lighten the mood and de-stress everyone with a Wednesday night Movie Event! We sold $20 "tickets" at the door for every one to dress down in their comfiest PJs to watch She's the Man on an inflatable big screen. We munched on a Cuban favorite pan con lechon an lots of bowls of crunchy plantain chips. Although Miami winter is not very cold, we all snuggled together in big blankets and simply enjoyed each other's company. After the movie, we of course could not end the night without a dance marathon where every one showed off their best moves. ultimately, our second movie night fundraiser was a great success! We were able to raise $600 for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America thanks to every one who came out to support!
