At the annual CCFA Comedy Night, the Rising Star Award is given to someone in recognition of their hard work and dedication to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. 

In 2016, we were grateful to receive the ABC Summer of Service Grant. We invested these $500 to fund the materials for the support group care packages. We bought more drawstring bags, water bottles, and information pamphlets. After putting them together, along with a personal letter, we distributed them to doctors to give to their recently diagnosed patients. Thank you so much Disney! 

I was featured on NBC's "6 in the mix" in order to share my story and promote the walk. It was a great experience!
