On April 21st, 2018, The Thriving Tree members supported Stephanie Diaz (17) and her team in the Type I Diabetes Walk. The walk was located at the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park where teams from all around Miami gathered in hopes of a future without type I diabetes. As a club, we had raised over $200 for Steph's team through a school-wide acai bowl sale. We had a great time laughing and sharing while walking around the beautiful park!
